Pine Bluegrass

Native to Rocky Mountain range, north of Nevada and Utah, west to the Pacific coast; grows to <4', usually shorter; adapted to open woods, meadows; adapted to low and medium altitudes, to 3,500' elevation; P. limosa (closely related) native to Mono Lake/Truckee, California; not well suited to hot/dry conditions.
