The golf course reopened for play in June, 2011. 007 and SR 1119 Creeping Bentgrasses were developed out of the Rutgers University Turf Breeding Program in cooperation with Seed Research of Oregon.

The team Captains are Davis Love III for the US and Daren Clarke for Europe. The Ryder Cup is played in even-numbered years between 12 member teams from the US and Europe. It consists of five match-play sessions played over three days.
